Nezarim

Nezarim is a relatively small settlement right in the middle of the Gaza strip, and by “in the middle” I mean right there. The government is making us believe the army base surrounding the settlement was build to protect it. If anything our dear government has proven to us these past few weeks is that it doesn’t do anything it doesn’t want to. The settlers were an excuse for the army to set up a base smack down in the middle of the Gaza strip. Ariel Sharon was general in 1984 when Nezarim was founded and founded the Nahal base there. He came back a few years later to inaugurate the synagogue. Does the media really think we’re stupid and naïve enough to believe Nezarim had no strategic value to the Israeli army and all the soldiers were doing there was protecting the settlers. Please. The people of Nezarim were the hard core of the Gaza settlements and it makes sense they would be the last to go.

The army is destroying houses in Gadid, Dugit, Peat Sadeh, Azmona and Nisanit, they’re not getting ready for peace, they’re making sure the “Palestinians” don’t have anywhere new to shoot from.
