One of the headlines on CNN today is this “Woman to marry man who shot her”.
This is so unreal, I don’t even know where to start…
she said - "I love Christian today as deeply as I loved him before this awful thing happened to us," Stebbins wrote in a victim impact statement. "We are soul mates." She added: "I want to tell you all that I have forgiven Christian. And I pray that Christian has forgiven me for failing him when he needed me most."
So I’m wondering, is this a classic case of battered woman syndrome, you know where the woman blames herself and if she had just done what she was told all would be good? And I’m sorry but “this awful thing” happened to you darling! Maybe she’s just realized no guy’s gonna want a woman with a mutilated groin. Okay, that was kinda mean… it's one of those days.
