The Office Hanukkah Party

The schools are on vacation for the week of Hanukkah and I understand if the office is having a party you’ll wanna bring them with you, after all its free food and entertainment. But if I’m not mistaken it’s still the office Hanukkah party and as far as I can tell unless there’s a sweatshop in the basement, grow-ups work here.

This year the Office Hanukkah Party was in the parking lot, yes the underground parking lot. They closed off a small area with tent fabric and that’s where we were supposed to stay. There were go-carts and a bouncing castle and one of those the ball pool but even if we got drunk enough to do anything fun and stupid we weren’t allowed in any of the above coz we’re too big. Did I mention there was no alcohol?

The food was another story, we got pizza that the delivery guy kept bringing in on a fucking scooter and falafel, (the Israeli junk food – imagine getting hotdogs) an assortments of store bought dry cookies and donuts. They rigged the coffee vending machine to give drinks for free and you needed that coz you were freezing your ass off IN THE UNDERGROUND PARKING LOT!!!

Had i been 5, I would've had the time of my life!!!
