I'm Not Bitter
It really is a tragedy. We don’t get a lot of snow here. Up in the Golan Heights (see pic) it snows every year but not in Jerusalem. It gets cold but most of the time not cold enough. So when the weather people get you all excited and tell you it’s going to snow and the city rents 40 snowplows and prepare a war room, you spend all day arguing with people “it’s not gonna snow” “they said it will”. You’re analyzing the rain to make sure it’s not at least mixed with snow. You jump to the window every time someone thinks they saw a snowflake. You make plans for a snow day, snowmen building with your loved ones, a walk through the snow to your relatives. By 2am when you go to sleep you pretty much gave up but there’s still a tiny bit of hope that maybe… Then you wake up in the morning and not only has it not snowed but the wind dries away all the rain and it’s just fucking cold…
