Girl Talk

So a few weeks ago I quit the pill. Not because we’re thinking of trying or anything or because it made me sick, it was actually a dumb reason. The pharmacy up the street belongs to an old Russian couple who take their job way too seriously and we have to tell them a week earlier before we need something so they order it. God forbid they would have an extra box of anything! Anyway, never mind that I’ve been taking this pill for a year, they didn’t have it. So I decided to take a month off, go back on condoms for a while and start over next month. The change was un-fucking-believable.

Where do I start?! I suddenly rediscovered sex – very sad! I thought it was stress or depression or routine, I wasn’t as interested as I used to be (and most of you know how hot my hubby is). Suddenly I wanna have sex, a lot of it! I check out guys, I haven’t done that in so long! And I have mind blowing orgasms and hey – hubby and I fight a lot less and I sleep better!!! It’s absolutely amazing, I never thought it would make such a change. Now I don’t love condoms but this is much better than the alternative, I feel like myself again. And besides, if I do get pregnant, no biggy. Hell, I’m never taking that shit again! When I’m done having kids, I’m having my tubes tied!

A couple years ago I was taking a different pill and it was making me very sick – stomach aches, leg pains, appetite went to hell, I was a mess – depressed, crying at the drop of a hat. I remember hubby reading me the side affects list from the box and every one of them I had! I got better after I changed it. My mother was on the pill and my older sisters were but I’ve never heard of side affects this severe. Any of you had that kind of thing? Discuss.
