Break’s Over – Ready for More?

So yeah, I had a moment of perfection (actually 2 plus hours, it was a great show) and now I’m back down to earth. Rent, bills to pay, bank calling me coz there’s no money. The cherry on top? Mike lost his (custom made 1200 shekels white gold) wedding ring. He remembers taking it off before work and putting it in his wallet and after the shift it was gone. No sign of it anywhere in the restaurant. I think it was stolen. I’m so beat I can’t even react to this, it’s one thing after the other.

In other news the NIN concert has affected us all very differently. For instance Ariane, was let out of the loony bin for the concert and had to stay there this weekend because she was late getting back. She’s been writing songs about it and trying not to have a break down. I get it, instead of reminiscing and remembering how fun it was, she’s stuck up there all alone!

Nir, turned out Friday had been drinking since the concert! He had so much fun, he was scared to come down. He woke up on our sofa Saturday afternoon and said he just realized the past 3 days were a blur...

Alex sounded like that time he has sex with Mike’s ex-girlfriend – all happy and relaxed and life is beautiful. Although he was pretty hammered when I spoke to him Thursday…

Me? I’m okay. I guess. I’m just so happy I got to see them. And so sad it’s over. Pookie was right though – it’s a religious experience :) And now we’re back to our lives and it’s hard.

I just want Mike to find his wedding ring. That’s all. K?
p.s. This picture made me laugh… it’s like one of those family pictures, “and this is one of us at the western wall”… LOL!!!

Glad you had a good time at the concert. Everyone needs a good time. :)

Sorry about the wedding ring. That really blows. Was it insured? Or maybe it's covered under homeowners/renters insurance? I dunno...just trying to help a little. ;)

awwww sarah. sweetie. your wedding ring - I sure do hope he finds it/it turns up. I'll be wishing my best cause damn. =\

also, I know it's strange to have an experience like you did, that brief time of complete escape, and then go back to... normality, so to speak. don't lose the feeling for a while, just try as you can to hang onto it. I'm sure you already are. ;)

Thanks you guys :( I'm afraid the ring is lost and not insured... Ariane suggested we get a new one and have a small ceremony and give each other rings again - I thought that was cool :)

Aw, I hope you do find the ring. That's a bummer. But a new exchanging of rings ceremony would be cool.

that would be cool. I want to do that one of these days too, and I haven't even list mine. ;) best of luck either way.

I'm guessing that the ring is still lost.

I like the idea of a new ring ceremony. That's cool!

One of my guy friends has his finger tattoo'd like his wedding ring. So, when he takes off the real one, it's always on his finger. PJ was thinking about tattooing his ring on, too.
(Maybe I just like the idea of tattoos?!haha!)
