Aaaaah… Scientology… My favorite brain washer. I’ve been fascinated for years with cults and religions because it is absolutely amazing to me how people can convince themselves to believe anything. Heaven’s Gate is one of my favorites. 21 women and 18 men voluntarily committed suicide because they believed the mother ship was coming to take them away and it was hidden behind the Hale-Bopp comet. Then you have the paranoids at the Solar Temple who ended up burining themselves to death after killing a 3 months old baby by driving a wooden stake through his heart because they believed he was the anti-christ.
I'm just venting because of this - According to D-listed Jenna Elfman and her shirtless husband went ape-shit on John Roecker because he was wearing a funny T-shirt. Also – Dharma and Greg suddenly makes so much sense…
