Nothing much to tell except tomorrow night is Rosh Hashanah – the Jewish new year. (4 days weekend!) Which is just a date but it makes you think. I was really hopeful about this year. I thought it was all going to get better coz the year before that was tough. So nothing got better, some things got worse. What I hate about those holidays is they make you think about shit. And they make you hope it’ll change. K, I’m gonna stop here before I get everybody down.
My parents and brothers are back from France and I spoke to my mom 10 minutes and all she did was complain… typical. But I’m still happy she’s back, I missed them a lot. We’re having dinner with them Thursday night. My bitch sister was already sniffing around asking me where I was for the holiday because she was trying to get invited to my parents and apparently my mom told her she doesn’t want anyone over. What bitch sister doesn’t get is my mom doesn’t want HER over. Every major holiday she does something like that! She calls me because if I was invited then my parents can’t say no to her without insulting her. What are they gonna say? Sorry, we like Sarah and Mike better, you can’t come to dinner. Take a GD hint! So they got away this time, for the first night they’re all going to the other sister and we’re coming over the second night, hopefully sans bitch sister. In other good news the restaurant is closed for the holiday so Mike will be home! Poor baby has been sick since Sunday :(
So y’all have a great year! Thanks for listening to me bitch a lot!
In case you’re wondering about the picture, we eat apples with honey on the holiday so that we may have a sweet year. I like this tradition :)
