Sunday Morning Working Time

Bit hung over this morning, that’s what happens when we’re called upon to cheer someone up – we have to drink a lot! It’s been a while, with all the colds and weird stress related illnesses I had lately. I decided to ignore them and go have fun! AT’s girlfriend was really quiet the whole time and just sat there. I kept trying to get her to join in but in the end I just ended up buying everyone Yaegermister chasers and lo and behold she started talking and didn’t stop till we went home. I was very proud of myself and mister Yaegermister.

We went to the Lebanese restaurant in Ein Karem before that, not my first choice but the nice Bistrot was full and we didn’t want to wait for a table to clear. We had to swap shrimp wrapped in smoked goose breast with grilled lamb. I tried to take a picture of the church tower I don’t know if you can see anything…

All and all we had a pretty awesome weekend. Hubby love the dinner I made for him Friday but this is slowly turning into a food blog so I will share the recipes a bit later. Hope Angie’s dinner went as well as ours!

We also saw The Departed Friday – ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod. I really liked this movie! Seriously it’s been a while since I saw a movie that good. It felt like passing a fucking kidney stone though, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I seriously needed a nap after it was over, I was exhausted! Oh, Deja Vu is AWESOME! I really loved it - you were right NV! Denzel rocks!

You know, that whole Anna Nicole Smith business is really sad, I feel bad for that little baby stuck in the middle. I gotta be a complete bitch here and say one thing – at least in we’re not hearing about Paris-Lohan-Britney so much now!

My birthday is in 3 weeks and I dont know what I want..!

That is so funny, I was saying the same thing yesterday about P-L-B. They're all probably contemplating suicide just so they can get back in the spotlight! Well, or I can only hope so.

I'm glad you liked the movie. Now we'll have to see The Departed. Is there gore? I don't like gore. Or horror.

And the food sounds great! Although that epocurious picture on the right makes me so freakin' hungry by the time I leave your blog!!

You're right, you are rather sneakily becoming a foodie blog!

Ack, Jagermeister... I shudder at the thought. (And as a drinker and former bartender, that's saying something.)
